How we work

The 7-day onboarding sprint: from signed contract to live sequences.

A day-by-day breakdown of the intake we run for every new client — the artifacts, the calls, the deliverables.

Most agencies take four to six weeks to launch. Ours takes seven days — not because we rush, but because the sprint is standardized. Every new Dolta engagement runs the same five-phase intake, and by day seven, sequences are live and the first replies are usually in. Here is exactly what happens.

Why seven days

Speed to first meeting is the single number clients judge us on, and every idle week between signature and launch erodes trust and momentum. A standardized sprint also removes the failure mode of custom onboarding: decisions that drift for weeks because nobody owns them. In our sprint, every decision has a day.

Day by day

Day 1 — Deep-dive intake

A 90-minute working session: your ICP hypothesis, your best-won deals, your loss reasons, your pricing, your calendar capacity. Output: a one-page ICP definition and a positioning brief you sign off on. Everything downstream builds on this document.

Day 2 — Infrastructure

We stand up sending domains, mailboxes, tracking, and deliverability monitoring — separate from your primary domain, warmed and authenticated (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). Nothing sends from infrastructure that can hurt you.

Days 3–4 — List and signals

The ICP definition becomes a scored account list: total addressable accounts, filtered by intent signals, resolved to the specific buyers who own the problem. You review a sample and veto anything that looks off. Your vetoes tune the filters.

Day 5 — Messaging

Sequences are written against the positioning brief: email, LinkedIn, and where it fits, phone. You approve every template before anything is scheduled. We keep approval to one round by bringing options, not drafts.

Days 6–7 — QA, dry run, go live

Full-funnel dry run: test sends, link checks, calendar routing, CRM sync, reply handling. Then sequences go live in ramped volume. The first status report lands the following Monday, and weekly from then on.

The artifacts you receive

  1. ICP & positioning brief — one page, signed off day 1.
  2. Scored account list — with the signal logic documented, not just the rows.
  3. Approved sequence library — every message, every step, yours to keep.
  4. Reporting cadence — the same four funnel numbers, every week, no vanity metrics.

What we need from you

About three hours across the week: the day-1 session, a list review, and a messaging approval. Clients who protect those three hours launch on day 7. Clients who don’t, launch on day 9 or 10 — the sprint bends, but it doesn’t break.

Every decision has a day. That is the whole trick.

— Why the sprint ships in a week.
